Description

A refreshing and vibrant Sparkling Watermelon Lime Mocktail combining fresh watermelon juice, lime, and bubbly soda water for a perfect non-alcoholic summer beverage.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed fresh watermelon
  • ⅓ cup fresh lime juice (approximately 34 limes)
  • 4 sprigs fresh mint
  • Soda water to top up
  • Extra lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelon: Cut the watermelon into cubes, removing the rind and any white parts to ensure only fresh flesh is used.
  2. Blend the mixture: Add the watermelon cubes and fresh lime juice to a blender. Blend until smooth, using a tamper if needed. If the blender is small, blend in batches.
  3. Strain the juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove pulp, and transfer the strained juice to a jug.
  4. Assemble the mocktail: Fill glasses or a large pitcher halfway with crushed ice. Pour watermelon lime juice into each until half full, then top up with soda water.
  5. Garnish and serve: Add a sprig of fresh mint and a lime slice to each glass. Serve immediately for best flavor and freshness.

Notes

  • If you don’t have crushed ice, place regular ice cubes in a zip-lock bag and crush them using a rolling pin for easy substitution.
  • Adjust the lime juice quantity to your taste preference—add more for a tangier drink or less for a sweeter mocktail.
