Instructions
- Heat the Milk and Cream: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the whole milk and heavy cream together until it begins to bubble around the edges, stirring occasionally. This will take about 3 minutes.
- Add Hot Chocolate Mix and Color: Whisk in the white hot chocolate mix until fully combined, then stir in the pink food coloring to achieve your desired shade of pink.
- Prepare Chocolate Sprinkle Rim (Optional): Melt the white candy melts in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Dip the rim of each glass into the melted candy, then immediately dip into sprinkles. Allow the coating to set for 1-2 minutes before adding the hot chocolate.
- Serve the Hot Chocolate: Remove the hot chocolate from heat and pour it into two 10-ounce or larger mugs, leaving space for toppings.
- Add Toppings: Top each mug generously with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, additional sprinkles, and drizzle melted colored candy melts for a magical finish.
- Enjoy Warm or Cold: Serve the Unicorn Hot Chocolate warm straight away or chill and enjoy cold as desired.
