Description

These Turkey Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or meal featuring thin-sliced deli turkey and Swiss cheese layered on soft Hawaiian rolls. Topped with a savory butter mixture infused with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning, then baked to perfection, these sliders are perfect for gatherings or quick dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Topping

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil. Spray the bottom of the dish with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Rolls: Without pulling the rolls apart, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish, ensuring they fit snugly.
  3. Add Fillings: Layer the thin-sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom rolls, then add a layer of thin-sliced Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.
  4. Top the Sliders: Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer to form complete sliders.
  5. Make Butter Mixture: Melt the unsalted butter either in a microwave-safe bowl using the microwave or in a saucepan on the stovetop. Once melted, stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until well combined.
  6. Brush and Let Soak: Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Allow the sliders to sit for 5 minutes so the rolls soak up the flavorful butter.
  7. Bake Sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes to allow the tops to brown lightly and the cheese to fully melt.
  8. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • For appetizer servings, offer 1 to 2 sliders per person; for a meal, plan on 3 sliders per person.
  • Store leftover turkey sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For longer storage, freeze the sliders in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
  • To reheat, bake covered in a 350°F oven until warmed through.
