Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 15.25 ounce box of white cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup clear soda (such as lemon-lime soda, Ginger-Ale, or club soda)
- ¾ cup red and green M&Ms
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
Optional Garnishes
- Sprinkles
- Red or green food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line two sheet pans with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Mix Batter: In a large bowl, combine the white cake mix, eggs, clear soda, and optional red or green food coloring if desired. Stir thoroughly until the batter is fully combined and smooth.
- Add Mix-ins: Gently fold in the red and green M&Ms along with the white chocolate chips to evenly distribute them throughout the batter.
- Scoop Cookies: Using a 2-inch cookie scoop, place dollops of the batter onto the prepared sheet pans, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Optionally, sprinkle the tops of the cookies with sprinkles for extra festive flair.
- Bake Cookies: Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the centers are set and the edges turn a light golden brown, indicating they are cooked through.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the cookies to cool on the pans for 10 minutes, or until they release easily. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy.
Notes
- Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
- For longer storage, freeze the cookies in a freezer-safe container or Ziploc bag for 2-3 months.
- Using a 2-inch cookie scoop helps ensure uniform cookie size and even baking.
- If desired, add a few drops of red or green food coloring to the batter for extra holiday color.
- Parchment paper prevents sticking and makes cleanup easier.
